1965 AUSTIN HEALEY 3000

This project was started at our previous place of employment and we unfortunately did not have the opportunity to finish it for the customer before we left to open our own garage. The vehicle was mostly completed and delivered to the customer, who wound up finding us and bringing the car back to us for continued restoration repairs.  She has already had a frame off restoration, which included replacing all of the body floor pans and boxing in the rotted frame. The rear suspension has been upgraded to a Mustang 4-link system with adjustable coil overs and a custom made panhard bar and the front suspension has been completely restored with all new poly bushings and upgraded racing valves in the shocks. The interior is mostly stock with some minor upgrades in the seat frames and sound proofing. After driving the car, the customer has decided to give the car to his son and continue the family car legacy. We hope to be servicing this car for many years to come.

Talk about this portfolio piece--who you did it for and why, plus what the results were (potential customers love to hear about real-world results). Discuss any unique facets of the project--was it accomplished under an impossible deadline?--and show how your business went above and beyond to make the impossible happen.

1966 Ford F100

After a full engine rebuild, the engine is now a balanced 383 stroker with a custom ground camshaft, forged pistons and rods, roller rockers, hydraulic lifters, and Chromoly push rods sitting in brand new Edlebrock 202 aluminum cylinder heads and topped off with an Edlebrock RPM Performer intake manifold, Holley 750 carb, and MSD electronic ignition. The exhaust system consists of polished stainless steel long tube headers flowing into 3” collectors, 2.75” mid-pipes, custom made X-pipe and exiting from custom made side exit oyster cut tailpipes all hidden behind the frame. After hiding all of the chassis and engine compartment wiring harnesses we finished the engine off with a beautiful chrome pulley and accessory kit and black and chrome valve covers and air cleaner housing. We also added stainless steel engine compartment covers and riveted them in for that final touch.

1963 Ford F100

Our customer bought this previously modified 1963 Ford F-100 and unfortunately it was not drivable at all. The previous owner had installed a set of 20” wheels in the front and 22” wheels in the rear and removed the leaf springs to achieve the desired ride height. This caused severe steering binding, the suspension bottoming out on every bump and the wheels and tires scraping inside the front and rear wheel wells. After a lot of ride quality and ride height discussions, the customer decided to have us install a new lowered I-beam suspension with rack and pinion steering in the front and a five link coil over suspension in the rear. This will raise the ride height slightly, still keep the wheels filling the wells and still maintaining good ride quality. After all was said and done, this project took a long time but was worth every minute! This truck rides so much better now that our customer can finally have fun driving her.

1979 Ford F100

This 1979 Ford F-100 has been a lot of fun to work on. She may not be finished yet but with the new drivetrain and suspension set up this baby is going to drive like no other. The progress has been slow but she’ll be driving down the road in no time.

2015 Hennessy Cadillac Escalade HPE 650

This baby’s supercharged 6.2L is going to breathe way better now with a completely custom made 3 inch stainless steel exhaust system.  As if this exhaust system wasn’t crazy enough, we built in two completely different exhaust sounds into one exhaust system, that exits through both sides of the rear bumper out of custom made Cadillac emblem exhaust tips. Using the Doug’s cut out assembly, we were able to run a Flowmaster high flow quiet muffler in tandem with a low noise resonator in one exhaust system and wide open 3” exhaust with the other system.
